Promoting Just Change Tea in Your Community

As an individual supporter – you can buy tea for yourself, your friends and your family. Distribute the tea to them - give them a ‘taster’ and encourage them to join the Just Change UK network. There is lots of information about Just Change available on the web (see links below).
You can buy tea for your workplace and encourage your colleagues to start using it at home. Just Change tea is good value for money and catering packs are available. (See costs below) Once you join the Just Change volunteer group, you will have access to communication materials like posters, pamphlets to put up in your tearoom, explaining why Just Change matters and how drinking JC tea can help local communities here and in India.
You can buy tea for your local school or community project. If you are involved in a community group and would like to become part of the Just Change trading network, the group could buy tea for its own use and also sell it to community members, to local schools and at community events.
Where do I start?
The best way to start is to contact your nearest local volunteer group who can give you tea and help you to sell it. We are always keen to discuss your ideas and work with others to promote Just Change.
We have also produced a useful starter pack called Tea in the pot which is full of ideas and practical suggestions.
There are plenty of news articles on this website that tellthe Just Change story. You can also download leaflets and posters to use in selling the tea and spreading the word about Just Change.
As well as the information on this website, you can find out more about Just Change India from their website, including the history of Just Change, the issues that the Adivasis are addressing and the way that the JC idea is growing through trade within India itself.
